Privacy policy

SourceX Inc. ("SourceX", "we") operates sourcex.si. We help companies license their business data to AI developers. This policy explains how we handle personal information about visitors, account holders, and people who contact us. Contact: hello@sourcex.si, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958.

• Information you give us: name, work email, company, role, and anything you enter in forms, the fit check, data requests, or messages.
• Account information: email address and profile details when you create an account, including your name and email from Google or Microsoft if you sign in with them. We never receive your passwords for those services.
• Chat and assessment messages: what you type into Ask SourceX or the guided assessment. Likely phone numbers, card numbers and passwords or keys are masked automatically before storage.
• Public company information: if you give us a company website, we may read its public pages to pre-fill company details for you to confirm.
• Files and dataset descriptions: files and descriptions you upload in your account. These are stored privately and are not shared without an agreement you have approved.
• Technical information: basic device, browser and usage information needed to run and secure the site.

• To review whether your data may qualify, and to respond to you (we aim to reply within two business days).
• To run licensing transactions you approve: buyer matching, agreements, delivery and payouts.
• To send emails about your request, such as confirmations and reminders. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time from the link in each email.
• Emails from our team may be drafted with AI assistance; a person reads every thread and reviews every agreement.
• To keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run SourceX, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Hosting, database and file storage providers.
• Google (Firebase) and Microsoft, for sign-in if you choose them.
• AI model providers, to generate chat replies, summaries and dataset profile drafts.
• Email delivery providers, to send messages to you.
• Our customer relationship management tool (Attio), to track business conversations.

Buyer release requires an executed agreement, SourceX’s written selection, completed privacy preparation when required, and supplier release authorization. Rights to original licensed data and the resulting deidentified dataset are set by the signed agreement. We may disclose information if required by law.

We keep information for as long as your account or business conversation is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete chats, leads or your account at any time.

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or object to certain uses. Email hello@sourcex.si and we will respond within the time required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, private file storage and short-lived download links. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away at hello@sourcex.si if you suspect a problem.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

SourceX is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 16.

We will post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify account holders by email.
