Terms of service

Last updated: October 10, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and SourceX Inc. ("SourceX", "we"), 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958. By using sourcex.si or creating an account, you agree to them. If you use SourceX for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What SourceX does

SourceX manages the business process of licensing company data to AI developers: checking fit, finding buyers, preparing agreements, coordinating delivery and handling payment. Our role is the transaction rather than model development, but the supplier agreement does grant SourceX rights in the deidentified dataset that include model training and use in our own products — section 4 sets out what those rights are. Each license is governed by its own signed agreement, and that agreement takes priority over these terms for that deal.

3. Accounts

Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us about any unauthorized use. Give accurate information. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Creating an account grants no exclusive rights to your data.

4. Your data and rights

  • You retain ownership of your original licensed data. Under the signed agreement, SourceX owns the deidentified dataset, subject to your underlying intellectual property rights. Rights, exclusivity, sublicensing and provisions that survive termination are set by the signed transaction agreement.
  • What the supplier agreement licenses to us. Once we select data and it becomes deidentified, the signed agreement grants SourceX a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable license to use that deidentified dataset: to train, validate, test, benchmark, monitor and improve AI models, datasets and related tools operated by SourceX and its customers; to incorporate it into SourceX products, features and services; and to distribute, sublicense or otherwise exploit the deidentified dataset on a standalone basis.
  • Review and selection. SourceX has 30 days from acknowledged receipt to select in writing any part of what you submit, and may decline for any reason or no reason. Anything not selected in that window is treated as declined and earns no payment, and we destroy our copies within 30 days, subject to standard retention processes and applicable law.
  • Survival. Once the fee is paid, the deidentified-data rights above are perpetual and survive termination of the agreement, including termination by you for our breach. SourceX, its affiliates and its customers have no obligation to untrain, delete, modify or stop operating any model or system built from, incorporating or trained on that data.
  • Deidentification is not a guarantee. We remove or replace personal details before delivery and check a sample afterwards, but no method is perfect. The agreement records that re-identification may be possible using the deidentified dataset alone or combined with other sources, and that SourceX is not liable for re-identification.
  • Your warranties. You confirm you own, or have permission to license, anything you submit, and that doing so does not break any law or contract. For personal data you also confirm it was collected, processed and transferred in line with applicable privacy law (including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), that you hold the consents or another lawful basis and have given the required notices, and that on reasonable request you will provide documentation of consents, lawful basis, chain of title and provenance.
  • Indemnity and remedies. Under the supplier agreement you indemnify SourceX against third-party intellectual property claims about submitted data and against regulatory or data-subject claims arising from your collection or processing of personal data in it. That agreement also limits you to monetary damages against SourceX and waives injunctions and other equitable relief.
  • Nothing is delivered to a buyer until you approve the deal, the agreement is signed, and delivery is authorized.
  • You let us store and process what you submit only to provide the service.

5. Fees and payouts

SourceX earns a platform fee on completed transactions. The fee is shown on every offer before you accept it. The platform fee is SourceX’s own earned portion of a transaction and is recorded separately from the fee payable to you; your agreement states the fee you receive and provides that no further royalties, usage fees or other compensation are owed to you for any reason. Payment timing and conditions are set by your signed transaction agreement. Under the current supplier agreement, SourceX’s written selection permits an invoice; payment is due Net 60 from SourceX’s receipt of that invoice without a buyer-payment condition. Unselected submissions earn no payment. Partial selection requires a mutually agreed reduced fee, and if the parties cannot agree one the submission is treated as declined and no fee is payable. Previously executed agreements keep their original terms. Referral rewards follow separate collected-fee rules.

6. Estimates

Estimates, examples and sample figures on the site are illustrative. Submitting data or a request does not guarantee a match, an offer or a payment.

7. Acceptable use

Do not submit data you are not allowed to share, try to break or misuse the service, access other people's accounts or data, or use the site for anything unlawful.

8. Third-party services

Some features rely on other providers, such as sign-in, email and AI tools. Their own terms may also apply.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is". SourceX does not give legal, tax or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the platform fees SourceX earned in connection with your account in the 12 months before the claim and USD 1,000. Liability under signed license agreements is set by those agreements and is not capped by this section.

10. Ending use

You can stop using SourceX and ask us to close your account at any time. Signed agreements continue under their own terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without reference to conflict-of-law rules. Any action arising out of or relating to these terms will be brought in the state courts of the State of Delaware or the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and you and SourceX consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Either party may seek equitable relief or enforcement of a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Where a signed transaction agreement sets its own governing law or dispute process, that agreement controls for that deal.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new date. For significant changes we will notify account holders. Questions: hello@sourcex.si. See also our privacy policy.
